1. Summary=synopsis
  This story is about a boy who got cancer. His parents got divorced, Andhis living with his father. His father is a poet, so he doesn't earn money continuously. They had a hard life. One day, there was a person who told them to give Daum a clean bone marrow. They got a surgery, and Daum got cured. But his father has a symtom. He had a headache, and the feels that water is inside his stomache, and he was hard to breathe. But, he doesn't tell to Daum, because he want Daum to be happy. So, he sent Daum to his mother, because, he has a cancer. Also, Daum has a talent on art, and his mother was a famous artist. After Daum go, he was really sick, andfinally,he died after a month, missing his son.

2. Do you like the story?
  I like this story, because, this story makes me think of my life and be thankful. Because, usually, people want the things that they doesn't have. But, here, Daum's only hope is to be healthy again and live happily with his father. After reading this story, I think about my life. Nothing's uncomfortable. Everyting is correct and comfortable. Clothes, foods, house, money.... I feel really embarressed that I always think negatively of my life and feel sad because of the things that I don't have. The most important and thankful thing is that I'm healthy! After reading this book, I always try to think positively. When I feel really sad and annoyed, that I even think that I could die, I think of Dum. When I'm becoming lazy, I think about the people who die yesterday. The day that they really want. I think this story makes me to feel thankful to everything.

3. Overall rating

  When I think about this book and rate it, I think this book is really good to students just at my age. Because,at my age, people have many thing that they want to buy, and when we don't have this, we think negatively. When I can gave a score to this book through 1~5, I think I will give this book a 5. Because, it is a non fiction, and dacumentary, but author wrote this book interesting, that we don't feel boring. Also, it gave us enough impression. I recommand you to read this book, and I really want to read this book again.

Violin

 I is hard to learn something that does not really match with your characteristics. I'm a girl but usually I'm similar to boys' characteristics. I think that classical music instruments don't match to me. So, when my mother told me to learn violin, I became confused. But, I learned that this was just my thought.
 For 2~3 months violin just sounded as if I'm writing on the blackboard. Because of this sound, i didn't try hard. so my skills didn't improve, and my will got weaker and weaker. I didn't practice it, so, I usually fought with my teacher and mother. so, I think that violin didn't fit to me.
 But, one day, i heard that my friend who started lather than i did played better than me, because she practiced harder. i heard her playing which was really good! From that moment, I tried to practice really hard. My skills got better and better. Because of this improvements, my will got back, and I tried harder than before.
 Finally, I learned that there is nothing that doesn't match to me if I work hard. So, at last, in the 6th grade, I played violin with my friends at talent show at school. During the show, I felt something that I could change another thing that I'm bad about to good thing. After this experience, i always try hard to work at every situation and try to think positively that there is nothing that i cannot do if I practice hard an enjoy it.

Our life at GLPS

 Hi everyone! I'm now at the KMLA's 11th floor. This is our second studying period. I'm not sure that I can post this kind of writings, but I'm posting it because, I want to tell somebody about 2012 GLPS camp. We usually learn math, history, debate, writing, and PE. We also went skiing once a week. Our class teacher is history teacher, Mrs. Medeline. We usually post at writing class,  Mrs. Palomo's class. She's a little bit scary when we are studying, but she is usually nice to us. Our day begins with pop song. Today's alarm song was Mr. Simple. At 7:00, the alarm rang. And all of the kids ran out of the dormitory to eat breakfast faster. After breakfast, we went to advisor's class. We have to go out until 8:20 not to be late and get yellow card. We study for 4 periods and come back to dormitory to have lunch. Usually GLPS's meals are delicious. And after lunch, we rest a while and study for 3 periods again from 2:20. After this, we eat dinner.
 After dinner, we rest with our roommates, and starting at 7:00, we have a self studying period. It's until 9:00 and we usually study books that we bring from home, or do our class's homeworks. We doesn't have much homework, and the classes are always fun. From 9:00 to 10:30, weneat snacks and take a shower. From 10:30 to 11:40, we have a 2nd self studying period. It's optional, so, people who left homeworks, they sign on a list to study. After 2nd studying period, dormitory cerfewed except our bathrooms. We sometimes talk for a while, but, usually, we're too tired, and PAs come in to ours rooms to check that we are sleeping or not. so, we usually sleep right away. Ah! PA is our teachers who is or was a KMLA stdent. They are divided into room PAs and class PAs. We also have TAs, who help us to study. All of them are kind, and they study really well. I think they're quite different with me...ㅠㅠ I think I should end here now. I'll post it again later. Bye~~~

The place that I like the most.

 Our family loves to travel during vacation. We visited forgien countries every summer vacation, so, I visited many countries. But, my favoritecountry was America. I visited America with tourists. I had a really fun days during at America.
 I love America the most, because it was the place that I want to visited. Most of my friends went to America. I visited the places that most people doesn't visit, but I don't visited the places that most people have been such as, America, Japan, or Canada. So, I told my parents to visit there.  When I went to America, I was really happy. It was over than my thousht! Beautiful trees, flowers, and waterfalls... I can't forget about it.
 Travling to America was my latest travel. so L can memorize it very well. Countries such as Europe and Germany is the place that I visited many years ago, so, I can only memorize it by my picture. But America, I visited there at 6th grade. So, I can memorize it by my own memory, so, most of the things are in my head. THe amount of memory from America is a lot larger than others, so, I have more emotional attatchment than other countries.
 Lastly, at America, I made many good friends. Usually when I get out of Korea, I became very shy and never talk to forigners, but at America, I firstly talked to the others and made a friend named Julia. She is 18years old and she is really pretty. She always smile, and I think that smile attracts me to say 'Hi' first to her.
 In conclusion, the place that I love the most is America. Because, it was the place that I really want to visit before, I can memorize it very well because it is the latest place that I go, and I made good friends at America.
